I love the 4th of July! It's one of my favorite holidays. It's summer and the weather is beautiful, the flowers are in bloom, there are fireworks, cocktails (not for me this year...), family & friends, and red/white/blue...
I love seeing all of the flags out, and the red/white/blue. I think patriotism has died off a bit for my generation. My Dad is the biggest patriot I have ever known. His favorite song is the National Anthem. I love it. He makes me proud. And it reminds me of my grandfathers, who were in the service.
So, the moral of today is...love your country & be proud to be an American. A little cheesy? Maybe. But I don't care. ;)
