Dreamy Cape Homes...

When we were in the Cape a few weekends ago we took a drive through the private island near DeDe & Dup's.  In season there is always a security guard so you can't get in.  Thought I'd share some of these amazing Cape Cod properties...

The architecture on some of these places is unreal.  When I was little my family used to spend time in the summer in Mashpee and one of their favorite things to do was for all of us to pile in the car and we would drive around and look at properties.  At the time I was 6, 7, 8+ so as you can imagine I was miserableeeeee sitting in the car for hours with my parents, my Uncle and Gram looking at Cape homes.  Now I have the bug ~ I love doing it and wish I could go back to those days!

Bubble Lessons from the Pro...

Those of you that have known me since the young days remember my Mum coming to school for bubble day.  These were no ordinary bubbles ~ she specially mixed the 'bubble sauce' and we would make bubbles as big as our bodies.  It was a blast.  Now that she has her little man she is getting him started right away with the bubble machines...and then she introduced him to his first squirt gun but he was more interested in drinking the water from it...

He LOVES doing bubbles now!

Pasta Face.

Dinner got a little messier than usual the other night.  Bentley featured a new look for spring ~ pasta sauce eyeshadow...

This one took a BIT of clean up. :)

Walkin on the beach...

I couldn't get enough of watching Bentley walk on the beach...teeter tottering around on the sand...

Cape Escape!

It's been so nice that we took a drive to the Cape yesterday to meet DeDe, Dup, Auntie Kristin, Tyler, and Ava.  It wasn't quite as warm as it was at home but let's face it, 65 degrees in March on Cape Cod is pretty darn nice.  It was super low tide and the beach was beautiful so we had to take a trip down there.  The kids were in heaven!!

Time for a snack break and a change of clothes...



Then it was back to the water...at about 40 degrees it didn't bother these kids!

And then, since my son couldn't resist the water and was SOAKED it was time to lose the diaper...nothing like a naked bum on the beach...

Some beach time, a walk to the dock, and spaghetti & meatballs and these kids were cooked!
