Big boy holding his own bottle (this is a fluke but I caught it on camera!)...
Sitting in his new high chair...
Cereal time (yup, some still comes back out and I have to "catch" it and get it back in his mouth...feeding a baby is a fine art...)
And we've moved on to veggies - first up, squash! He seems to like it - although I guess anything is better than that rice cereal crap. We've also had to move on to a heavier duty plastic bib...there is squash EVERYWHERE when he's done...
Strangely enough, I've discoverd that Hurley likes squash, too. This is a dog who does NOT like vegetables. We've given him carrots and found them shredded to pieces on the rug upstairs but he never actually eats it - just shreds it up and spits it out. Carrot shrapnel everywhere. He won't go near a green bean or pepper. Who would have thought?!
*Disclaimer: Don't worry Grammy & DeDe, Bentley's serving containers were cleaned very thoroughly ~ first by Hurley's tongue, then hand-washed, then the dishwasher. ;)
Next on the menu: carrots, sweet potatoes, and peas...then on to fruits...pears, apples, and probably some bananas. Yummmm. ;)
Have a good weekend!
