A Date with Jax & Wes

Last weekend in addition to finding a lost pup, we had another addition to the family for the weekend - JAXY!!!  I love me some Jax.  He is our friends' Tory & Jay's boxer ~ a very sweet boy and Hurley's best bud.  Meet Jax...

THIS is dog love...

Jax is an aggressive tongue kisser and got to Bentley right away!

 

 

 

 

 
They hung out together.  Bentley called him "Jackson" the whole time because he is used to our friends' baby named Jackson AKA "Jax."  Yes, he is wearing Jaxy's collar on his head.  I'm not sure which is worse - this one on his head or when he came out of the mudroom with Jax's other collar around his neck.

 

 

The four-legged boys were so excited when Natalie got here that one of them left her a bone...



We got sandwiches for dinner ~ Wes really enjoyed the steak and cheese...

And then without prompting he went in for the kill with Gracie, buttering her up to be his girlfriend one day maybe???

 

 

 

 

 

Three of the four boys were on watch at the door.  Where's Hurley, you ask?  OBV in his closet upstairs!

And the sweet lil man that Wes is, he made sure Bentley got lots of hugs, too...

 

 

By this point it was WAY past bedtime for these two.  In addition to being wound up from being with each other, they also visited a little turtle across the street that our neighbor's son had found.  CLICK HERE to watch the madness that ensued.  Oh and if you listen closely you can hear Wes start wheezing midway through the chase!  :)
