So the lil man had his 12 month appointment. He is 22 lbs / 38.4%; 29 1/4 inches long / 33.6%; his head is 18 inches around / 31.2%. So I guess he's on the smaller side, except for his beefy arms and legs! The Dr. was pleased and said he is very healthy. We are starting milk 3 times per day and can ditch the bottles as soon as we would like ~ last night I did half milk and half formula for his bedtime bottle so I'll probably do that for a bit before losing the bottle entirely. The breakfast bottle is gone already. He never had much interest in his bottle until he figured out how to feed himself, and now loves it. He had THREE shots (TERRIBLE AWFUL AWFUL I HATE ITTTTTT) and a finger prick (EVEN MORE TERRIBLE IF THAT IS POSSIBLE) for a lead test. Fortunately he is quick to recover. Although his bandaid went missing and I have yet to find it?! He's also popping a few more chompers!! I was suspect of another bottom tooth on the left already, and then yesterday morning Auntie Trish noticed his gums on the right bottom side were a little red. The Dr. not only confirmed those two teeth coming in but at least two on the top ~ left eye tooth and a molar behind it. So in the coming weeks/months he'll be busting out some serious teeth! Time to pick up some children's motrin. So all-in-all the appointment was good and Bentley is a healthy, happy little guy!!!
