Bentley's "New" Table...

I've finished Bentley's little chalkboard table, it just needs to move to his room once his curtains and sheets come, and the chair moves out.

TABLE BEFORE...

TABLE AFTER...

He may not be quite ready yet but I can't wait to draw and do crafts with my lil man at this table!

Green Dresser Inspiration...

I saw this gorgeous green dresser on the fabulous blog Decorology this weekend...

{Photo courtesy of Decorology}

I was in my green bathroom last night thinking about this little end table I picked up awhile ago that has such pretty lines to it...

I've had it primed and waiting to be painted but not sure what color...

I have an empty space under the countertop that would be perfect for some 'little people' AKA kid storage and this guy is just the right size for 1) Bentley to reach and 2) to fit in the space.  There was a fun green mistint staring me in the face at Home Depot yesterday and last night everything clicked that this gem is going to turn into a green piece for the master bathroom.  Stay tuned!

Gradient Dresser FINISHED!!

Now let's hope this baby is really a girl or I'll be back to the drawing board with an array of blues!

BEFORE...

AFTER...

Now it just has to move to its new home upstairs and I need to line the drawers!

Weekend Progress...

Adrienne and I painted, painted, and painted Saturday and yesterday ~ there was lots of painting project progress...say that 10 times fast...around here.  The hideous to-be-baby-girl's dresser made it from this...

To this...

It has a bit more to go, though, to get to that pretty distressed gradient color dresser I showed you over the weekend...

I bought glass knobs, but it needs lots of distressing and a final coat of clear wax before I call it quits on this one.  Bentley's table has gone from this...

To this...

I decided to put a coat of chalkboard paint along the top.  It needs another coat of that paint, a little more distressing, and a final coat of wax as well.  I'm also halfway done with painting a used dark wood console table I had ~ when done it will just be black.  I don't think I'll distress it but leave it for now and I can always beat it up down the line.   Adrienne also turned this (excuse the not-so-much total before pic)...

Also not complete, she'll be doing lots of distressing on this bad boy, too.  So that was a productive weekend.  And when I finish up these three gems I'll be starting the other dresser for the new baby's room as well as a little ditty I'll tell you more about tomorrow...
