NEW FLASH: He Pulled Himself Up!

Today I went into the kitchen to make Baby B a bottle and make a couple of phone calls, so I plopped him in his pack 'n play.  As my Dad answered the phone, I turned around to see this!!!

Seriously with this face?!

There was lots of yelling and clapping on my part, and had to hang up and call the 'rents back so I could enjoy the moment (what a GEEK I am)!!

Taking a Stand...

This kid LOVES to stand!!!  With some support of still...of course.  He is SO proud when he's standing up - his eyes light up and he does this excited yelling/grunting thing..."ADAHHH, ADAHHH, ADAHHHH."  Cracks me up!

Baby B is starting to feel better...This is from the other day ~ I know it's gross but I have to share!

Very impressive (and incredibly gross) that so many booger bubbles could come out of such a little nose!

Quick NINE MONTH Update!

Bentley had his 9-month appointment today and all is well! (Other than the ear infections and excessive boogers of course...)  He is 19 lbs / 8 oz (30th percentile); 18 1/2 inches long (55th percentile); and his head circumference is 18 inches (60th percentile).  He REALLY liked the paper on the Drs. table and tore that up while we were waiting.  He was enjoying his remote control and chucked it across the room when the Dr. walked in.  And he enjoyed giving our Dr. high five and waving at her - he's quite a charmer!!

I know I'm a crazy picture-taker but this time I actually only had my camera on me because we were meeting a friend after his appointment!

Bentley's First Easter...

After an early morning breakfast and bath, Bentley took a SIX hour nap so we made the executive decision to stick it out at home for Easter day.  We certainly missed spending the day with our families but it was best for Baby B to rest up.  We did enjoy some family egg coloring when Bentley FINALLY woke up!

He loved playing with the containers...

I realize he doesn't look QUITE as sick and droopy-faced as he did yesterday, but rest assured he is still not feeling well and is very boogery...

I know I am usually very artsy-fartsy so I am not proud to show the finished products of our egg coloring (Christopher's are actually much better than mine...) but I feel obligated to share.  I CLEARLY need to work on my egg coloring skills for Bentley's second Easter!

Even though Baby B is still not doing so hot, he is slowly starting to feel better with his antibiotics.  He was feeling a bit warm tonight and has a teeny weeny temp but nothing major.  He has his nine month check-up tomorrow so I'm looking forward to some comfort from his regular pediatrician that he's heading in the right direction.  Even sick he enjoyed egg coloring! 

And in the end Grammy & Grampy and DeDe and Dup came by to see the lil guy on his first Easter!  He was happy to see them!
