The Zoo

We've been trying to get to the zoo this summer but our schedule has been SO crazy on the weekends.  FINALLY we were able to make it back!!  Bentley enjoyed it last time we went, but there was no comparison to this latest visit ~ he ran around like crazy and literally shrieked in excitement at some of the animals! 

Before we left Bentley played on the iPhone while Gracie slept...

Bentley fell asleep in the car on the way there even though he just woke up...

We got there and hung out, wandered around for a few, and checked out the kangaroos while Jackson ate...

Bentley went for a ride on Daddy's shoulders...but at first he wasn't too sure how to hold on...

The babes hung out in their strollers...Gracie was wide awake for a bit but then the zoo apparently bored her...

Bentley LOVED the animals - he rode on Daddy's shoulders, ran around like crazy, and gave us lots of "oooohhhss" and "aaaaahhhhs"...

We tried to feed the deer but he was a little nervous...

I wasn't so sure about a pony ride but decided to try it...and as soon as he got off he asked to get back "on...on" and kept asking for the ponies...

  

 Then we took a ride on the "Bear Affair"...

After about 3 hours of animals and running around it was time to head home.  I made the mistake of giving the lil man some oranges for the ride home...

His shorts were soaked with orange juice because he kept squeezing them in his hands.  We had so much fun and I can't wait to go back!!!
