The Driver
Today we went to visit Uncle Mike & Aunt Paula at the Storage facility and Bentley had a chance to be the "driver" like he always asks. First, in the golf cart...
Then in Great Uncle Mike's classic '68 Ford pick-up...
This gem was sitting out front and really wanted me to take her home ~ I have always wanted some type of turquoise pick-up or something similar...this girl needed a lot of work though.
The kids had fun visiting their Great Aunt & Uncle - Bentley got to ride in the golf cart, "drive" the truck, eat fresh tomatoes as well as all of Uncle Mike's carrots and grapes that he brought with lunch, help stock the fridge with Coke, watch TV, and play with the "toy" cars that aren't really toys. He was worn out!

*Can you see him peeking over the steering wheel in the pic above?

Craft Central
Where have I been you ask? WELL. When I decide to throw a party, I go for it. I'm ALL IN. So with Gracie's Christening coming up in OHHHHH 6 WEEKS or so...the psycho in me has already started planning, picking decor, and crafting. So I spent about a week+ figuring out how I wanted to decorate and coming up with ideas, then the last week or so crafting & such. LOTS of crafting.
First were the invites...which I had to hand stamp with a pink crown and then attach rhinestones to each.
My girl was a good helper! Any further pictures of my crafting will likely be in black & white so as not to give away the decor!!
Here are the few sneak peeks you are going to get...
It's a good thing I started early because when I did a "rough draft" table layout the other night I immediately panicked and realized there needs to be some serious editing. So back to the drawing board with some ideas...
Lots of posts to come!

Nourse Farm
This morning the kids and I met Auntie Candy (Adrienne...who has become Auntie Candy for the obvious reason that she LOVES candy like no one else other than my hubby and Uncle Jeff Welch) at Nourse Farm in Westboro. We were going to check out the butterflies at Perreault Nurseries in Grafton but they weren't there. So instead...off to the farm for raspberry picking with Bentley, Gracie, and two of the three kiddos that Age nannies for - another Grace, who is almost 4, and her little brother Frances (also known as "Frank" or "Francine" if he's misbehaving...).
It's an adorable little farm with pretty flowers and a pumpkin patch with HUGEEEEE pumpkins!
We headed up to the raspberry picking area...which was a total pain in the ass to say the least with Gracie's little Snap 'n Go stroller. The kids each had a little bucket and went to town - mostly eating what they picked right away.
Here's a cute pic of the kiddos together...
When paying for our berries on the way out, I grabbed 1) a head of Boston lettuce, 2) 3 red onions, 3) 3 big tomatoes, and 4) celery ~ everything came to less than $15!!! I've been wanting to start buying more produce at local farms/farmers markets and today proved that I should be. It was cheaper and I prefer buying locally grown produce to support farmers and for health reasons. So now I'm off to check out the Grafton Farmer's Market, which is every Thursday in the summer on the town common...
