Preggo Update...

Well I just finished week 22, into week 23, and I figured you were all due for an update...

There hasn't been anything that exciting going on so far.  A whole bunch of unwelcome anxiety that I am going to see a specialist for later this month; the start of acid reflux when I wake up at night; and definitely no more "regular people" pants.  OH, and yup, I still puke.

Little girl Strazz has started moving and groving, but different than Bentley was.  With B at a really early stage I felt this distinct stab, then nothing for several weeks and then I could feel him rolling around like he was in an oil slick.  No "flutters" for me like they say, my kid was like an oil slick.  This little girl is already poking and proding me, gently so far, but I'm convinced I'm growing a kick boxer. 

Every week I get an email comparing her size to a fruit or vegetable.  It's pretty amusing.  At 22 weeks she reached the size of a spaghetti squash, and now into week 23 she is growing to be 11 inches long and weigh as much as a large mango. 

On the baby brain front, I've had a few DUH moments...TOP 3 so far...

1. Putting my tea in the microwave sans water ~ that's right...teacup, teabag, NO WATER.
2. How many events are in a decathalon someone on TV was discussing? Well, I thought...and started counting to FIVE in SPANISH. A) Decathalon is 10 sports, B) Really with the Spanish?
3. A little R rated so forgive me ~ I overhear on the TV "new Trojan BEARSKIN condoms" and I'm like 'ummmmmmmmmmmm what is appealing about condoms made of bear skin and how does that even work, how are they made, WHAT ABOUT THE BEARS?!'  YAAAA, then next time I see the commercial Trojan thankfully confirmed they were referring to "BARESKIN."  Thank god for the bears sake.

I think that's it for now.  Started picking up a few baby girl clothes and blankets, and next is tackling the nursery before I get too pregnant to move like I did with Bentley when I was trying to work on his room.

I'll post a new belly pic around 24 weeks, every 4 weeks or so.  It's weird to think that my next appointments are 24 weeks, 28 weeks, and then I move into the 32 WEEK MARK!!!  OH, and the Dr. thinks BGS will be early ~ I think I told you but historically your fist baby is the latest and so we'll be looking at a few days prior to Bentley's schedule (12 days early).  I'm hoping for a late April baby and will do whatever I can to make sure that happens!!
