The Fur Patient...

The patient is doing great!  Today he went for round #5 of chemo.  Every time we go on Thursday's I am nervous as all hell waiting for them to call me after his physical and tell me how he's "really" doing and if he's cleared for treatment.  The call came today that his physical, blood work, and heart test levels were all normal so he is still in remission and cleared for this week's chemo treatment.  I hate not having him home during the day though.  I am trying to get used to being at home without him here but I am not there yet.

So the tech last week told me how out back they have crates for all the dogs, but Hurley is special.  They just clip his leash to a hook on the wall and he sits in the tech's chair all day.  They won't move him for anything, even to sit down - they just sit in whatever corner of the chair he is NOT taking up.  Here are the pics they sent me.  The first two are him sitting on his oncologist's lap - thinking still that he is a lap dog!!!
