I just thought I would give you a Hurley boy update.
He is doing great and as well as we could ask. A couple of weeks ago at his usual chemo appointment his white blood cell count was low. The oncologist wasn't concerned as it wasn't too too low but it was low enough that they didn't want to push him on the chemo because it would drive his white cell count lower and subject him to infection. So we went back a few days later and his count had bounced back so he had his treatment. The girls spoiled him as usual...
He is so loved and spoiled by these ladies! They let him do whatever he wants. He was wandering around the room and decided to hop up on the cart they used for anesthesiologist patients...you'll notice an unconscious dog on the cart above him here...
At his physical they always say he is bright and alert. His vitals have all been normal. There is one node under his neck they have been watching - it has significantly reduced in size but not gone away and is not growing. They are being very overly cautious watching it and right now are not worried and still considering him in complete remission. His white cell totally rebounded. This week he goes for just a tech check up and then next week for chemo again. Overall, he is doing great and the Tufts team loves him and is very happy with how he's doing.
Here's just some recent pics of our goober...
Please keep sending positive thoughts his way!
